Senators Pelton R. and Daugherty, primary bill sponsors, introduced Senate Bill 26-060, which requires that youth athletic coaches complete an annual mental health education course that includes information on the effects of concussions, and requires that parents be notified of the psychological symptoms or changes in mental health that may result for an athlete who is removed from play due to a suspected concussion. |
